A vampire searches for new victims on the rain-soaked streets of Hamburg. Repeatedly we see flashes of her inner thoughts and her delusional vision of an endless corridor containing only an unreachable goblet full of blood. When she finally reaches a kiosk with a lone clerk, she senses her opportunity. Can her eternal thirst be satisfied?
