???? The Cold Storage VFX Breakdown drops Monday, March 9! Heads up: there are some creepy images and yes… spoilers from the end of the film.

Directed by Jonny Campbell and produced by STUDIOCANAL, Pariah and David Koepp, Cold Storage follows two employees working the night shift in a self-storage facility built on the site of an old U.S. military base. When a highly contagious parasitic fungus escapes from a sealed underground level, the organism begins to spread rapidly, threatening everyone inside and beyond.

MPC delivered the film’s full visual pipeline, from visual effects through image post-production. Over the course of an 18-month production, 431 artists across MPC studios worldwide created 541 VFX shots, ranging from invisible clean-ups to large-scale destruction, CG environments, complex creature work and detailed digital enhancement of practical SFX makeup.
