FOLKS reveals the horror beneath perfection in The Beauty. Blending body horror with sharp social commentary, The Beauty explores a mysterious disease that makes its hosts physically flawless - before revealing a deadly price.

Transformation and physical mutation sit at the heart of the story, driving a VFX approach focused on motion, scale and realism.

Led by VFX Supervisor Kevin Yuille and Executive VFX Producer Ashley Nizich, FOLKS delivered 386 final shots for the season. The work was heavily CG-driven, with the creation of approximately 20 assets, including multiple digital doubles designed specifically for complex transformation and destruction sequences.
