Yip yip!
Going further into Netflix’s live-action Avatar: The Last Airbender for Season 2, our team, led by VFX Supervisor Ross Wilkinson, returned to Appa and Momo, building on our Emmy-nominated Season 1 work while expanding the story with new characters and fan-favorite moments.
From introducing Baby Appa, his siblings and Mama Appa to creating the Eastern Air Temple and bringing beloved ‘Appa’s Lost Days’ moments into live action, our artists put their VFX bending skills to work, combining technical craft with a deep appreciation for the original series and the characters audiences know and love.
