Our team created the Bennu, a mythical griffin-like creature, by drawing from a wide array of griffin interpretations found in folklore and media. We began by blending lion and eagle features to capture the creature's essence, grounding our design in authenticity while infusing it with unique creative touches. To bring the Bennu to life with believable movements, we conducted extensive anatomical research and applied innovative techniques to simulate wing dynamics. A key challenge was achieving expressive, large alien cat eyes, alongside the intricate task of feather rendering. To address these complexities, we developed new simulation tools, ensuring the feathers interacted realistically with the environment, and enhancing the creature's integration and presence within its surroundings.
