Peter Jackson's 'The Hobbit' is full of both practical and digital effects. Using a very clever mix of the two, movies like 'The Hobbit' serve as a great example of how well they can both work together to achieve such breathtaking results.
Jumping on hobbit's heads in barrels is something that definitely requires a little green screen/CGI help. And that's just a tiny part of what we have to show you in these incredible before and after VFX show reels!
