This a short I just finished while studying VFX at Sheridan College. The prospect of creating expressive creatures out of dynamic simulations was really exciting for me. I hope you like it.



The total production time was about 4-5 months. All aspects of the project were accomplished independently with a blend of Houdini, Maya, NukeX, 3dCoat, and Adobe CS6.



-Shot on Sony A-37(it does 60fps @ 1080p) and Canon 5D

-Autodesk 123dCatch freeware was also great for creating proxy geometry of the forest location
