From director Zach Braff, Wish I Was Here follows a struggling actor, father, and husband as he struggles to find his purpose in life. As compositing supervisor, Zai Ortiz oversaw the sequences of the film in which visual effects were utilized alongside filmed footage. This resulted in realistic, seamless effects that blend perfectly into their scenes.
