Our work on Marvel Studios’ Eternals features high-end VFX techniques, from digital double work to large-scale simulations—including water and destruction—fully digital environments, and CG creatures and characters.

Our overarching ambition was to fuse physically spectacular VFX with the pristine onset photography and honour Director Chloé Zhao’s naturalistic visual style. We recreated the beach digitally to provide a consistent stage for the action, so it was free of footprints and unchanged by the tides. We made highly-detailed digital doubles of the cast for the showdown between the Eternals, the celestial Taimut—including the dramatic FX accompanying his emergence, and the lead deviant Kro in his evolved form.
