Following the previsualization phase, the team strategically selected Courmayeur as the exterior shooting location, nestled in the picturesque Aosta Valley in northern Italy. Leveraging Google Maps terrain data in the previsualization process, Argon seamlessly integrated digital elements into the sequence. Upon reaching the actual filming location, the visual effects team meticulously captured comprehensive background plates of the snow-covered landscapes, towering mountains, and the surrounding areas, all guided by the technical visualization (techvis) framework.
