For Godzilla vs. Kong, we worked hand-in-hand with filmmakers to visualise Kong's story moments and the film's epic landscapes.

The subterranean realm of Hollow Earth is one of thirteen hero environments built by Wētā and is a massive, gravity and logic-defying landscape bought to life by our artists. Animating Kong for his scenes through Hollow Earth began with establishing his personality and exploring animation beats and pacing from the early stages. We also did some striking FX work—like the mind-bending vortex that tunnels through from Antarctica—and produced a cast of creatures to populate Hollow Earth.
