I like miniatures, the beauty of taking something immense and try to contain it in a much smaller way. I designed this project with the idea of playing with contrast. The difference between a large ocean hitting a sailboat in the middle of a storm, all contained inside a small bottle, against the calm and warm sunset outside.



This kind of contrast makes me think in the Universe everything is relative, and even the more enormous galaxy can have its equivalent in a tiny atom structure. That, or maybe I just wanted to play with a sailboat! :P



To build this project I used mainly Houdini, NukeX, Substance Painter and Photoshop.
