Personal project and a homework assignment for CGMA's Abstract VFX in Houdini course. I had a blast doing everything procedural in Houdini but since I am a serious Mantra noob - I exported everything to 3DS Max and rendered there with Vray. My initial plan was to make some nice layered shaders but decided to render out full material passes and merge everything in comp.
