This is the work for VR theater(Toppan VR).

By using abstract dots, I express "space" instead of "things". It becomes real space, that is, existence by using a VR system. Dots are like the atoms in the real world, and are the smallest element of the composition of all things. All spatial phenomena are manifested by differences in the arrangement of dots and by changes in time. The title "In the beginning was the dot" is inspired by the first word of the Gospel of John, "In the beginning was the Word".



これはVRシアターのための作品です。アブストラクトなドットを使うことによって「モノ」ではなく「空間」そのものを表現します。それは、VRシステムを使うことで、実空間つまり存在になります。ドットは、現実世界における原子のような万物の構成の最小要素です。ドットの配列の差異によって、また時間の変化によってあらゆる空間現象を表出することができます。タイトル「In the beginning was the dot」は、ヨハネ福音書の最初の言葉「まず言葉ありき」からインスパイアされています。
