2grey는 리그오브레전드 코리아 리그 2020서머 오프닝을 기획하고 만들었습니다.
이번 오프닝은 전세계 LOL리그 역사상 처음으로 시도된 Full CGI 오프닝입니다.

우리는 이번 오프닝이 어둡고, 영광이 있는, 인상적인 오프닝으로 남기를 원했습니다.
리그의 서막을 알리는 영상이었기 때문에 마치 전쟁이 시작되기 직전, 전운이 맴도는 분위기를 주는 방향으로 기획하고, 라이엇 코리아와 이야기를 나누어가며 팬들에게 특별하게 다가갈 수 있는 디테일을 넣어 연출했습니다.
이를 위해 2grey는 10팀의 대표 선수들을 저희 scan lab에 초대해 스캔하고, 모스트 챔피언의 무기와 스킬vfx들을 신경써서 제작했습니다.

5주간의 짧은 제작기간이었지만 즐겁게 만들었던, 팬들의 관심과 좋은 반응에 보람있었던 프로젝트입니다.

2grey created and produced the LCK 2020 summer opening.
This is the first full CGI opening attempted in the history of the LOL League worldwide.

We wanted this opening to remain a dark, glorious, impressive opening.

Since it was a video that announces the beginning of the league,
it was designed to give an atmosphere that feels like just before the start of the war.
We talked with Riot Korea and put it in with the detail that can reach the fans in a special way.

To do this, 2grey invited 10 teams of representatives to our scan lab to scan and crafted the Most Champion's weapons and skill vfx.
It was a short production period of 5 weeks, but it was a project that was rewarding for fans' interest and good reaction, which made it enjoyable.
