In the latest ONEPlus 5 Commercial, we tried to add some biological characters to the product. This time we decided to evolve the phone into a robot. Based on the product's slogan "A New View”，we designed a story about the existing, wakening and breakthrough, and seeing the new view.



It's the first time for us to put character animation in a commercial, we had various of problems and learned a lot in the process. It's my honor to invite talented concept artist Mark Chang for the character design and my old friend, genius concept artist Zaeoyo for art direction and scene design. Other team members include my old buddies like Ray, Chiu, and Lewis Orton. Also thanks to the Maya Artists who worked on the character part, and Stanley's gorgeous sound design as always.
