The cape sundew is a carnivorous plant known for their long tentacles and sticky dew drops. In the fall of 2023, I studied the visual characteristics of a sundew plant and created a procedural animation based on my observations.

What if Montreal’s iconic junk food came to life and embraced winter? That’s where our inspiration began. We created playful 3D characters—poutine, smoked meat, bagel and hot dogs—full of charm and mischief. From snowy hills to shoveling snow, they dive into winter’s joys and quirks, celebrating the season and Montreal’s foodie soul.
It all started with brainstorming: who would our characters be? Poutine took the lead, followed by other classic, easily recognizable Montreal dishes. These foods aren’t unique to our city, but if they make you smile, wherever you are, we’ve done our job.

Kvadrat Waves — FRAME

Waves, developed by Kvadrat Acoustics in collaboration with Fosters + Partners Industrial Design, is a new acoustic curtain solution designed to create adaptable acoustic soft rooms within open-plan interiors. The system rethinks the curtain as a flexible architectural element – capable of shaping interiors, improving acoustic comfort, and responding to changing user needs.

The film by Frame is designed to highlight the highly adaptable nature of Waves as the product integrates seamlessly with existing architectural structures. It can be installed directly to ceilings, soffits, and beams and is available in both manual and motorised configurations, including app-based control. By softly defining pockets of space within larger environments, the system supports a wide range of activities – from focused work meetings to informal gatherings.

In addition, the film communicates performance as Waves offers a sound transmission loss of 12–15 dB, significantly improving acoustic comfort and speech privacy in open environments with up to 70 % noise reduction.

HAY - 3daysofdesign — FRAME

Frame teamed up with Danish design brand HAY to create a film for its 3daysofdesign exhibition, held at the stunning contemporary art venue Overgaden. Created with the intention of being experienced on a large-scale 4x2m screen, the film features 8 unique chair designs in a myriad of configurations - all in black, creating a stark monochromatic vibe.

The visual approach was largely inspired by silent film and stop motion aesthetics, as well as an energetic edit led by diegetic sound design. The result is a bold exploration of the Backflip, Chisel, Deville, Layout, Palissade, Rey, X-Line and Pack Chair products and their unique design expressions.

Kvadrat Acoustics Soft Cells — FRAME

Frame has once again teamed up with Danish textile design powerhouse Kvadrat, this time to create a film that marks the release of Kvadrat Acoustic's re-engineered Soft Cells product. Soft Cells are made-to-measure acoustic panels that incorporate an acoustic core behind a textile layer.

The revised construction improves the structural stability of the panels and has enabled an increase in recycled aluminium content to 83%, whilst reducing the total amount of aluminium used per panel. The updated solution introduces expanded panel formats, a new patented textile attachment system and refined detailing throughout, giving architects and designers significantly more freedom to specify, install and adapt acoustic surfaces over time.

The result is cleaner, more precise installations — and a solution built to last longer and be reused. The film seeks to highlight the brand’s ongoing commitment to longevity and reduced reliance on virgin materials whilst also conveying the key theme of an existing, popular product being re-engineered for greater design freedom.

Montblanc Minerva — FRAME

The Minerva Unveiled Crownless is a stainless steel and rose gold time-only watch that possesses an especially strong symmetry due to its lack of a traditional crown.

The crownless design relies on assigning manual winding and time setting to the fluted bezel, a modern-day innovation inspired by a 1927 Minerva pilot’s watch with a rotating timing bezel. The vintage-shaped stainless steel case is adorned with a rose gold (18 karat) fluted bezel and an inscription “Depuis 1858” on the mid-case.

The signature gold-coloured guilloché dial features an inset small-seconds at 6 o’clock, visually counterbalancing the vintage Minerva logo and the rose gold-coated Arabic numeral “12”. The watch is completed with a dark green alligator strap and a stainless steel triple-folding clasp with a fine adjustment system.

PACHA LOUNGE CHAIR BY PIERRE PAULIN

In his earliest sketches, Pierre Paulin imagined sitting as a sensation, expressed through rounded forms that seem to float and hold the body with ease. From this idea came a new way of sitting: low, generous, and free from convention.

Set within an alpine dreamscape, clouds circle gently, echoing the curves of Pacha. The form drifts between inside and out, lightly touching the ground. Its sculptural volumes feel naturally shaped by time.
