After sitting on this film for nearly two years, I am incredibly proud to finally share my 2024 HKU graduation film, NOXIOUS.

Creating this short was an intense journey of exploring the boundaries between technical artistry, custom workflows, and cinematic storytelling within Blender. For a long time, the pressure of releasing it held me back, but looking back at what I accomplished, together with help from other artists, in such a short production window, this film deserves to be seen.

???? En voici un exemple issu de la promotion 2026 autour de l'univers loufoque, poétique et humaniste imaginé par Yvon Taillandier (1926-2018). Peintre, sculpteur, écrivain et critique d'art français, considéré comme l'un des précurseurs de la figuration libre, Yvon Taillandier a créé un monde foisonnant de personnages et de couleurs.
À la suite de son décès à Avignon, son épouse a fait don d'un important ensemble de ses œuvres à la ville, permettant à son univers de continuer à rayonner.

À l'initiative de Bruno Portet, directeur des Affaires Culturelles de la Ville d'Avignon , nos étudiants ont relevé le défi de donner vie à ses tableaux burlesques et colorés à travers l'animation, prolongeant ainsi ces véritables "chants joyeux" et "hymnes à la joie", comme l'artiste aimait lui-même qualifier son œuvre.
