CG short for Andrey Lebrov's Automotive CG Challenge.
For the piece I came up with a futuristic test station for offroad cars. It contains a "treadmill" wich drives rock terrain underneath the vehicle.
I built this with an xpresso rig, wich links the offset of the deformer and the texture to the vehicle speed and the steering angle. The geometry of the terrain is generated with the volume tools in cinema 4d.
I wanted to show the full suspension capabilitys of the prototype vehicle Audi AI: Trail.
All you see comes straight from Redshift with only very slight color grading.
