In line with the increasing use of XR technology in digital media, Lightfarm is proud to launch its new and most interactive institutional book. Throughout its 102 pages, the publication brings together the main original and commissioned works signed by the studio over the past few years.

The highlight of the recently launched edition is its cover: by pointing the phone at the QR Code, readers can, through the screen, watch the character jump out of the book and move along with explosion effects and floating icons. The sensation is that we can see, right in front of our eyes, a book breaking the limits of paper and taking the viewer's experience to another level.

The idea of "giving life" to the book came to demonstrate the full power of the Image Tracker technology, often used in the studio's AR projects.

"More than merely presenting the highlights of Lightfarm's portfolio in these years in a book, we seek to bring to this edition an unprecedented immersion experience that only Augmented Reality technology can offer. We understand that, because it is interactive, this kind of experience becomes unique, and the connection of brands with people becomes much more intimate than in traditional media ", explains Milton Menezes, who was in charge of the entire graphic project.

The filter was produced by Lightfarm's own AR team, which worked all the animations within 4MB of the file to make the experience as realistic as possible. The animations were made both within Spark AR, Facebook's tool for creating the filter, and outside the platform.
