The alternate reality to the original Ghostbusters is pretty different. All the men are now women and vice versa. But in another alternate reality (ours) they're all just movie stars. And our 'real' ghosts tend to look a bit like a parson wearing a sheet over their head. Nothing as fancy as 'Slimer'.
But, putting tacky ghost costumes aside, we sure can do wonders with our computers!
In this video we take a look at how some of the ghosts were made in these awesome VFX showreels by Zero, Method Studios (iLoura) and Imageworks.
