As the sole VFX provider for the project, Outpost VFX had just eight weeks to provide 88 complex VFX shots across a wide variety of techniques, including ghostly cloth simulation, full CGI character creation, digital doubles, set extensions and digital matte paintings.

Under The Shadow became an instant hit at Sundance and SXSW and went on to be considered one of the standout films of both festivals, while being hailed as a modern classic.

With a BAFTA win for Outstanding Debut by a British Writer, Director or Producer, and three British Independent Film Awards for Best Screenplay and Best Debut Director for Babak Anvari and Best Supporting Actress for Anvin Manshadi, Outpost VFX are extremely proud to have worked with Babak Anvari and Wigwam Films on such a critically acclaimed feature.
